Kihei Oasis On Maui is a legally permitted, well-appointed, three bedroom, short term vacation rental on the south side of the Hawaiian Island of Maui situated on a gorgeous, half acre property - private, fenced, and beautifully landscaped with more than 80 palms, orchids, ferns, succulents, fruit trees, exotic tropical flowers and plants, and an organic herb garden available for guest use.

Custom Swimming Pool, Spa, & Gazebo

Enjoy our custom 40,000 gallon, 800 square foot saline (salt water) swimming pool and 10-foot tiled saline spa to relax your body at anytime, especially after a long day of exploring Maui. The swimming pool is heated to 82 degrees (fahrenheit) in cooler months and can be made warmer with an additional security deposit.

Our custom 14 foot gazebo, situated between the swimming pool and spa, seats five people comfortably. A rinse off shower is adjacent to the gazebo for use before and after pool time (or any time). The gazebo, a wonderful place to sit or receive a massage, has two waterfalls that spill off the roof into the pool for added visual and acoustic ambiance.

Fire Pit & Large Outdoor Area

A fire pit is situated near the back end of the swimming pool for cooler Kihei (winter) evenings when the temperature may be under 70 degrees (fahrenheit). The yard has more than 30 LED landscape lights to provide stunning night time ambiance to Kihei Oasis. The pool and spa have additional LED lighting that can change colors. There are two hammocks for relaxing in the private, fenced yard - one in the back corner under a shaded, thatched umbrella and the other on the lanai near the master bedroom.

The lawn area features an additional shaded seating area for five people with a spectacular view of the spa, waterfall, and pool deck. Four lounge chairs, easily moved around the yard, are comfortable for basking in the sun or laying in the shade.

Outdoor Lanai (Hawaiian Veranda)

The lanai with peek-a-boo ocean view on the back of the home is a 1,000 square foot area with seating for six people in comfortable, relaxing chairs and rockers. A full size, stainless steel, radiated heat, gas grill can be used for BBQ's. A large teak cooler can be used to store cold drinks for convenient access. The lanai can be completely child-proofed to keep small ones on the deck and away from the swimming pool area for easy adult supervision. If desired, please ask us to childproof the lanai before your arrival.

Fully Equipped Kitchen & Pantry

Kitchen appliances include a large stainless steel refrigerator with filtered water and an ice machine (a second refrigerator is in the garage), dishwasher, microwave oven, Vitamix blender, 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, 4-slice toaster, electric kettle, 4-burner electric stove and full-size oven, full-size rice cooker, food mixer, and knife sharpener. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, knives, glassware, plasticware, plates, bowls, serving platters, Pyrex bakeware, and Circulon hard anodized nonstick pots and pans. The pantry is stocked with coffee, white sugar, brown sugar, flour, spices, green tea, Lipton tea, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a few other food items. The informal kitchen setting is open to the living area. The dining table seats four and the large island in the kitchen also has seating for four.

Inside Living Area

The inside living area has French doors that open to the 1,000 square foot lanai (and spacious backyard) and an L-shaped sitting area with a 60-gallon tropical freshwater aquarium. A 46-inch LED TV is enclosed in a teak cabinet with a Blu-Ray DVD player that can stream movies through the wireless Internet connection and Yamaha receiver with both indoor and outdoor speakers. Music can also be played or streamed through the entertainment system.

Original artwork appears throughout the entire home. There is a ceiling fan in the living area and in each of the three bedrooms. Central air conditioning can also be used when needed. Games and puzzles are available for play and there are a number of Hawaii-themed books to read. For extra security, a wall safe is available to store valuables.

Other Amenities

If needed/requested, Kihei Oasis can be child-proofed for the safety of small ones with plug protectors, cabinet restraints, pantry locks, and wooden gates for doorways. There's also a high chair, two portable Pack and Plays, a large Joovy play pen, bed rails, and a bouncer.

A full size washer and dryer inside the home are supplied with unscented laundry soap, OxiClean detergent, and dryer sheets. In the garage, there are extra tables and chairs for guest use. Beach chairs and coolers are also stored in the garage along with boogie boards, umbrellas, pool toys, floats, and more.
